About Training Options - Microsoft and Adobe Certified Training Center

Our mission is to provide the highest value training and service experience for our business and individual clients, and to specifically assist business and government in their pursuits of excellence, through the development of employee and departmental computer and business management skills.
 

We are Southwest Florida’s only Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions and Adobe Certified Training Center.  We offer computer training and web-design services to individuals and corporate groups by way of public and custom classes, instructor consultation and project oversight.  Training Options was established in Fort Myers, Florida in 2003 and has enjoyed the opportunity to provide a high level of business training to a diverse set of clientele in city, county, state and federal government, large and small corporations, and talented individuals in a variety of industries.

Training Options is owned and operated by Cynthia and Rene Cabrera. Together, through training and consulting they have helped goverment operations, major corporations and mid-sized enterprises apply computer technologies to current business processes. Their successful track record in the industry is due to their training philosophy which emphasizes not just learning technologies but also learning to use them to solve real business problems.

Cynthia Cabrera, President, has over 10 years’ experience in business management and finance, operating as a manager at Homestead Housing Authority in Dade County.  Since Homestead Housing Authority received funding from the USDA, Cynthia also knows government business practices.

Rene' Cabrera, Vice-President of Training Options, has over 10 years’ experience in Information Technology and holds a bachelors degree in Information Technology from Barry University. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Nova Southeastern University. Rene is a seasoned project manager and programmer with organizations such as Assurant, the largest specialty insurance company in the US. His most recent position was with the City of Cape Coral as a Senior Programmer Analyst. Rene is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, and Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft Sharepoint Services and Windows XP. Rene’s technical resume includes, C#, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005, and Java.

Our Instruction is Designed for Results

Our computer training is designed for adult learners who need to apply technology to solve real business problems.  Our trainers are business professionals who use relevant examples in the classroom.  This means your staff can apply what they learned immediately upon returning to work. We limit class size to provide more personal interaction and invite active attendee participation.  Each class enrollment qualifies the learner to 6 months follow up with the instructor on any exercise covered in the classroom. Any class may be re-taken within 6 months if necessary.
